Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox lived on the student allowance, and relied off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with other Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 as a member of the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. That was also where she came across Dave Stewart with whom she would form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working for Diva in 1992, her first solo album. The album garnered a lot of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues and soul from early childhood. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera a collection comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. At the end of the 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, with an album titled Diva.
